About Spatial Architect

Oversees the conceptualization, development, and execution of interior and exterior environments, blending functional space planning with aesthetic architectural principles. This role involves leading design teams, coordinating with consultants, managing budgets, and ensuring projects comply with regulations and client requirements from inception to completion.

What You Will Do

  • Design Development & Strategy: Create and develop design-led responses to briefs, including producing 2D/3D plans, models, and renderings.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage, motivate, and mentor internal design teams, overseeing the production of technical drawings and ensuring quality standards.
  • Project Coordination & Management: Coordinate the entire design process, liaising with architects, structural engineers, while managing project timelines and budgets.
  • Spatial Planning & Optimization: Analyze space usage to maximize functionality, efficiency, and user experience, particularly for commercial or institutional projects.
  • Compliance & Technical Review: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.
  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact, presenting design solutions, and negotiating project fees.
  • Material & Vendor Selection: Research and source materials, finishes, and furniture to meet aesthetic and budgetary requirements.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods, including walking through office and warehouse spaces.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer work, sketching, and handling material samples.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of materials, samples, and product prototypes.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for supplier visits, trade shows, and design development meetings.
  • Visual acuity to assess product details, colors, and finishes accurately.
  • Ability to adapt to various work environments, including office settings and warehouses.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, or reaching to inspect products or review samples.
