About Design Studio Head

Responsible for New product development, evaluating market trends and designer collaborations.

What You Will Do

• Manage all design process aspects, from research and ideation to creative conceptualization and design, collaborate with stakeholders to research and develop cohesive design plans, create concepts, and oversee the development of prototypes.
• Good collaboration skills, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to develop creative design solutions that meet business objectives and goals, managing all aspects of the design process, from research, and ideation to creative conceptualization and design.
• The ability to delegate and lead design project teams toward successful adoption of new design ideas.
• Able to work on a small number of projects concurrently and deliver on expectations within deadlines with a high level of changes and iterations required.
• Up-to-date with the latest developments in the design and technology sectors, and highly proficient in negotiation and problem-solving for the future.

What You Will Need

• 5+ years experience in the indoor furniture industry.
• 5+ years experience in product management, product development, market research and trends.
• 3+ years of experience scaling new product categories in a B2B consumer products brand.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product through its lifecycle, with an understanding of supply chain and sourcing processes.
• A collaborative leader, leading by example and encouraging team members to innovate, improve and solve customer needs.
• Impeccable taste and eye for visual design and practical product design.
• Knowledge of current market, design, and product trends.
• Experience with furniture and related categories.
• Adaptable, with a hungry-to-grow mindset.
• Resourceful, proactive, and a true team player.
• Fluent in English is a plus.
• Willing to visit the factory 2 times a week.
