About Design Studio Head

Responsible for organizing all production needs and requirements ranging from design, photos, materials, marketing strategies such as content, product introduction to achieve the specified targets.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop new furniture concepts in response to market trends, customer needs, and company objectives.

• Research and analyze design trends, materials, production methods, and functional products.

• Generate sketches, 3D models, and illustrations to communicate design ideas.

• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to refine designs and ensure feasibility of production.

• Select furniture finishes, fabrics, and hardware based on aesthetic, functional, and safety requirements.

• Manage projects from concept through delivery, ensuring that designs are executed flawlessly.

• Conduct quality assurance testing to verify that products meet all safety and performance standards.

• Plans, schedules, conducts, and manages various design projects, ensuring all initiatives adhere to acceptable design practices and compliance regulations.

• Conducts idea mapping, design strategy, and journey maps to frame digital design initiatives.

• Provides effective management of the Design Team to achieve desired results, ensuring the application of efficient work practices for core group processes.

• Ensures that programs stay on track by resolving resource conflicts and removing obstacles, which may involve negotiations across teams. Assists with troubleshooting problems, discrepancies, and investigations of non-conformance.

• Monitor customer feedback and modify designs accordingly.

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.

What You Will Need

• Professional 6 – 8 years (design/agency), 2+ years experience in art direction/managing/developing others or leading teams.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino, 3ds Max, or similar software.

• Strong record of collaboration, ensuring completion of projects/programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in furniture design, industrial design, or related field.

• 3+ years professional experience in furniture design.

• Experience with woodworking, metalworking, and other fabrication techniques.

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
