About Warehouse Manager
Manage the daily operations of the custom furniture warehouse, including the organization, storage, and retrieval of furniture. Oversee and coordinate the receiving, stocking, and distribution of all custom furniture. Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
What You Will Do
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
- Schedule and oversee the warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
- Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
- Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
What You Will Need
- Education Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Have Experience min 5-7 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in bag manufacturing.
- Proficiency in managing inventory levels, including knowledge of inventory control systems, stocktaking procedures, and reconciliation processes.
- Have experience with WMS (warehouse management systems).
- Understanding of proper material handling techniques.
- Know warehouse safety protocols and compliance with local regulations regarding storage and handling.
- Have good communication skills, team leadership, and strong organizational skills.
- Willing to be placed in a branch of our factory.
